Sofi Tukker 2026 Australian tour: Presale, dates, venues, and more explored

The Grammy-nominated, New York-based duo Sofi Tukker are officially set to return to Australian stages in 2026. Sophie Hawley-Weld and Tucker Halpern will bring their first headline Australian tour in four years to Melbourne, Perth, Sydney, and Brisbane. The group is expected to perform some of their biggest hits along with newer material.

Sofi Tukker have spent the past two years touring internationally and releasing new music. Their third studio album, BREAD, came out on August 23, 2024. Sofi Tukker formed in 2014 at Brown University in Rhode Island, where Sophie and Tucker first met at an art gallery event. Sophie was performing when Tucker approached her about collaborating.

Sofi Tukker’s debut single, “Drinkee,” was released in 2016. The track, adapted from a Brazilian poem by Chacal, earned the duo a Grammy nomination for Best Dance Recording the following year. Their debut EP Soft Animals (2016) and first full-length album Treehouse (2018) received notable love from fans and enthusiasts.

“Original Sin” is one of their newer singles. It came out in 2022. The duo spoke about the song in an official statement:

"Original Sin is a mantra of being kind to yourself and rejecting imposed social mores. It is a duet that parachutes you into the center of SOFI TUKKER's world with a juggernaut rhythm and an instantly memorable hook."

The song was part of their album, WET TENNIS, which is an acronym for When Everyone Tries to Evolve, Nothing Negative Is Safe. Sofi Tukker said:

"WET TENNIS is about forward movement and optimism, no matter what the challenge. Negativity will happen, but it will not stick around for long when we fully embrace and flow through it."
