Following the success of his two tracks on the Billboard Hot 100, Sombr has unveiled his debut album, I Barely Know Her. The announcement comes just days after the release of his new single, 12 to 12, which will be featured on the album. On August 11, the Back to Friends artist took to Instagram to reveal that I Barely Know Her will be released on August 22.
While sharing the news of his new release, the singer wrote,
"My debut album “I Barely Know Her” is out August 22nd. You can presave it now……..I love you so much."
The singer has written the entire album, produced with Tony Berg, and is releasing it via Warner Records.
Sombr debut album I Barely Know Her consists of 10 songs
The young singer left high school to focus on his music career after his song Caroline gained traction in 2022. His recent tracks, Back to Friends and Undressed, secured spots in the top 40 of the Billboard Hot 100, reaching positions 31 and 25, respectively.
Earlier in a June interview with Billboard, Sombr shared his thoughts on the success of his two tracks.
"I didn’t make them to have hits; I made them because I was feeling something and I needed an escape. I needed to pour my thoughts and feelings out, and when I put them out, I received so many messages and people telling me after shows that the music has been therapeutic for them, which is exactly what it was for me," the singer stated.
Sombr's debut album, I Barely Know Her, consists of the following songs:
- Crushing
- 12 To 12
- I Wish I Knew How To Quit You
- Back To Friends
- Canal Street
- Dime
- Undressed
- Come Closer
- We Never Dated
