Rebecca Black on being a part of Katy Perry’s Lifetimes tour
While performing together at Rebecca Black’s Salvation tour back in March, Katy Perry got down on one knee, akin to a proposal, to ask if Black would join her Lifetimes tour, as per Rolling Stone. The publication noted that Perry’s question was followed by Black enthusiastically agreeing to support the star on her tour.
Though the Lifetimes tour commenced on April 23 in Mexico, Black joined Perry during May in various locations across the US, such as Houston, Chicago, and Austin.

Speaking to Entertainment Tonight from the American Music Awards, Black shared why it was so special to accompany Katy Perry on tour. She said,
“It was honestly incredible. I mean, I've never really been able to perform in arenas before, so being able to perform my new songs, and just be a part of that world. Katy's been a part of my life for such a long time and such an avid supporter of what I do. So I felt, it felt really special, very full circle.”
Speaking about Perry's process, Black said,
“I mean I really see, one, how hard she works and how big of a part of the process she is with everything. She's such a big part of the decisions that are being made, and I just respect her so much and I think she she leads with a lot of kindness, which I really appreciate.”
As per Just Jared, Rebecca Black is set to perform alongside Perry in July and August in various locations across the US and Canada.
