Stevie Nicks' fans in Detroit will have to wait a little longer to catch the singer in action as she postpones her concert while recuperating from a broken shoulder.
The Fleetwood Mac legend pushed the concert, which was scheduled at the Little Caesars Arena, to October 28, the Detroit Free Press has shared. Her team issued an official statement announcing the same:
"Due to a recent injury resulting in a fractured shoulder that will require recovery time, Stevie Nick' scheduled concerts in August and September will be rescheduled. Please note that October dates will be unaffected."
Stevie Nicks' forthcoming tour dates explored:
Ultimate Classic Rock has reported that Stevie Nicks, 76, extended the dates just last month. She was supposed to kickstart the show on August 8 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York, with 16 additional shows slated across the nation.
It was supposed to end on October 25 at the PeoplesBank Arena, which is in Hartford, Connecticut. Nine of those concerts have now been rescheduled.
"More information will be available at point of purchase," the official statement further says. "Ticketholders are advised to hold on to their tickets and consult the list of rescheduled dates. All previously purchased tickets will be honored at the new date."
Stevie Nicks has since confirmed that the tour will resume on October 1 in Portland, Oregon.
