The long-speculated collaboration between Stray Kids member Hyunjin and singer-songwriter d4vd is now confirmed.
On June 22, the alternative R&B singer officially announced that his new track, titled Always Love, featuring Hyunjin, will be released on June 27.
The idea for the collaboration ignited last year when Hyunjin publicly revealed that he was a fan of d4vd’s music. The Romantic Homicide singer then responded positively on social media, and quickly expressed his enthusiasm about the possibility of working together with the K-pop star.
Earlier this month, the two artists finally met face-to-face when d4vd attended Stray Kids’ dominATE concert in California.
To mark the announcement, d4vd posted a lighthearted teaser video that shows him dancing with a cardboard cutout of Hyunjin, while holding one of the Stray Kids’ SKZOO plush toys.
He wrote in his caption:
“WE SOUND SO GOOD OMG !! 'ALWAYS LOVE' FT HYUNJIN OUT JUNE 27TH [crying and heart emojis]”
The teaser also bore the text:
“D4VD X HYUNJIN”
Further, the Placebo Effect hitmaker added a new post, teasing the new track’s lyrics.
“HERE IS THE LYRICS TO 'ALWAYS LOVE' - TRY AND FIGURE OUT WHAT HYUNJINS VERSE IS.”

d4vd adds second Brisbane show to WITHERED tour due to high demand
Meanwhile, Hyunjin and d4vd’s collaboration announcement comes after the alt-pop artist confirmed an additional Brisbane date for the Australian leg of his 2025 WITHERED world tour.
Following a strong demand, the Here With Me crooner added a show scheduled for December 3 at Fortitude Music Hall.
d4vd is also set to headline at the Sydney Opera House Forecourt and appear at Spilt Milk Festival, where he would join the star-studded lineup featuring Kendrick Lamar, Doechii, and Dominic Fike.
In a statement, d4vd shared the intention behind his world tour:
“This tour is about more than just the music. It’s about the community we’ve built — the ones that have grown with me and inspired this next chapter.”
This new chapter includes larger venues compared to his 2024 run, reflecting on the artist’s growing overseas presence. His debut album, WITHERED, which explores themes of romance and transformation, supports the tour.
The album, released in April, contains 15 emotive tracks, such as Atomic Land, Sky, Say It Back, You Left Me First, and Invisible String Theory (Interlude), among others.
WITHERED follows the success of Romantic Homicide, d4vd’s breakout single that reached multi-platinum status and accumulated millions of streams.
