Sublime add new shows to 2026 Australian tour: Ticket info, dates, venues, and more explored

Sublime have formally prolonged their 2026 Australian tour. Sydney and Melbourne will now witness new performances by the band. It will be in line with their forthcoming Bluesfest performance in Byron Bay.

The ska-punk act will entertain the Australian audiences for the first time with the current lineup, which consists of original members Eric Wilson and Bud Gaugh with Jakob Nowell, son of late frontman Bradley Nowell. Sublime first performed at Melbourne's Festival Hall nearly 30 years ago.

In 1988, the band was formed in Long Beach, California. Three studio albums were released by Bradley Nowell (vocals, guitar), Eric Wilson (bass), and Bud Gaugh (drums), one of which was self-titled in 1996. Nowell overdosed on heroin and died that same year. Sublime turned into a posthumous hit. It delivered beloved tracks like What I Got, Santeria, and Wrong Way.

Sublime announced the 2026 AU tour extension via an official Instagram post, captioning:

"Australia, we have more for you! We’re playing at Melbourne Festival Hall on April 1st and Sydney Hordern Pavillion on April 4th as part of our first ever Australian tour, with our good friends @skegss 🤙Tickets go on sale Thursday at 11 am AEDT"

On November 13, 2025, tickets for the freshly announced 2026 Australian performances will go on sale. Tickets are offered to fans through the band's official website and approved ticketing partners. On Thursday, November 13, 2025, at 11 a.m. AEDT, general sales will begin through the band's official website. Bluesfest 2026 tickets are presently being sold on the official Bluesfest website.
