Sublime have formally prolonged their 2026 Australian tour. Sydney and Melbourne will now witness new performances by the band. It will be in line with their forthcoming Bluesfest performance in Byron Bay. The ska-punk act will entertain the Australian audiences for the first time with the current lineup, which consists of original members Eric Wilson and Bud Gaugh with Jakob Nowell, son of late frontman Bradley Nowell. Sublime first performed at Melbourne's Festival Hall nearly 30 years ago. In 1988, the band was formed in Long Beach, California. Three studio albums were released by Bradley Nowell (vocals, guitar), Eric Wilson (bass), and Bud Gaugh (drums), one of which was self-titled in 1996. Nowell overdosed on heroin and died that same year. Sublime turned into a posthumous hit. It delivered beloved tracks like What I Got, Santeria, and Wrong Way.
