Tate McRae and The Kid LAROI's relationship timeline explored as rapper seemingly confirms breaking up with singer 

Rumors say that the feud between Tate McRae and The Kid Laroi continues to intensify as the latter seemingly alludes to it in cryptic tweets.

The Kid Laroi took to X earlier this week to address a fan's claim that his team was responsible for the slew of online attacks against McRae. The fan claimed that these stemmed from his new single, Hot Girl Problems, in which he seemingly alludes to her cheating on him.

Just a few weeks ago, X was swirling with rumors that McRae was seemingly too close to her bodyguard as their photos went viral online. In his tweet on X, The Kid Laroi said:

"so yall know I have NOTHING to do with this and I DO NOT co sign this behavior whatsoever. working to get these removed."

He also shared a screenshot of his message to his team, where he told them:

"Guys is this coming internally? If so can we please have these taken down Tate and I are on good terms and this just looks messy / whack."

His team echoed the sentiments too, with one noting, "we'll make moves on this," and the other affirming the hate, "definitely didn't come from us that's for fu*cked up."

The Canadian pop star and the Australian musician have been romantically linked since early last year, though it was only in April that The Kid Laroi confirmed that they were dating. At the time, as reported by People Magazine, he was in Dublin for a performance, where he told fans that “his girlfriend” was somewhere in the audience. McRae was watching from the side of the stage.

At the time, a source told People Magazine that the two were seen holding hands at the 2024 NHL All-Star Game in Toronto. McRae, who served as the celebrity captain and halftime performer, was performing hits like "Greedy" and "You Broke Me First" at the time.

Tate McRae dropped her third studio album, So Close to What, at the time, and one of the songs was a collaboration between her and Laroi, titled “I Know Love.” As reported by Teen Vogue, McRae told Billboard at the time of the collaboration:

“It was a really funny process, because me and LAROI have never really, like, taken each other seriously.
