The internet is fan-girling after Taylor Swift becomes the most-awarded solo artist in VMAs history.

Taylor Swift has achieved another feat through her illustrious music career. It is MTV's Video Music Awards season, and apparently, Swift is the most-awarded solo artist in VMAs history with 30 awards under her belt. The list of awards is part of her 71 nominations at the award show over the course of her career.

This weekend, the VMAs 2025 are taking place, and as usual, the Blank Space singer is nominated. The pop star is nominated for the Artist of the Year along with Beyoncé, Kendrick Lamar, Bad Bunny, Lady Gaga, Morgan Wallen, and The Weeknd. However, Taylor, who won 7 awards out of her 12 nominations last year with her album Tortured Poets Department, will not be attending the show this year.

Fans react to Taylor Swift's feat

This feat caused a bit of a commotion amongst Swift's fans and other internet users, as while the fans were overjoyed and celebrating her achievement, some people felt that she didn't quite deserve it, to the point that they even accused her of buying her way into having these awards.
