The Armed 2025 tour: How to get tickets, dates, venues, and more explored

Detroit-based hardcore collective The Armed are officially hitting the road in support of their upcoming album The Future Is Here and Everything Needs to Be Destroyed, which is set for release on August 1, 2025, via Sargent House.

The Armed is a known name in the underground rock scene. Following their 2023 record Perfect Saviors, the band's latest single is "Well Made Play." The song is the opening track of the new album.

In addition to the new album, The Armed have announced a short U.S. headlining tour that runs from August through December 2025. The tour will kick off in Cambridge, Massachusetts, and wrap up with a hometown show in Detroit. All dates will feature support from Prostitute, a Michigan-based act that also appears on the track "Broken Mirror" from the upcoming album.

Tickets for the newly announced tour is set to go on sale to the general public on Friday, May 23, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. local time via Ticketmaster. As of now, no official presale codes have been announced.

The Armed shared the tour announcement via their official Instagram handle, captioning:

"The EVERYTHING NEEDS TO BE DESTROYED Tour. WSG/ @attempted.martyr. Tickets on sale Friday, 10 AM local. These shows will be legendary. Yes, they will be worth travelling to. New sets every night. DO NOT MISS OUT."

In a press statement, The Armed vocalist shed some light on their upcoming album, stating:

"It's music for a statistically wealthy population that somehow can't afford food or medicine — endlessly scrolling past vacation photos, gym selfies, and images of child amputees in the same feed. It reflects the dissociation required just to exist in that reality."

It is worth noting that multiple artists including Ken Szymanski, Patrick Shiroishi, Urian Hackney, Kurt Ballou, Troy Van Leeuwen, Meghan O'Neil, Ben Chisholm, Cara Drolshagen, Tony Wolski, Brian Wolski, Justin Meldal-Johnsen, Prostitute, Zach Weeks, Mark Guiliana, Kayleigh Goldsworthy, and Derek Coburn, have been featured in the upcoming LP of The Armed.
