Renowned South Korean boy group Monsta X is winning the internet, as they have recently dropped a performance video for their brand new song, Do What I Want. The internet has positively reacted to the music video of Do What I Want, which was released on YouTube on August 18, 2025.

While it was a pre-release single from their much-awaited and upcoming mini album, The X, fans of Monsta X are quite thrilled as they are eagerly awaiting the rest of the songs. As the fans of the boy group are excited about the new single, the internet reacted by saying, "The choreo is so good" about the new performance video.

The Seoul-based K-pop group Monsta X, which was founded in 2015, currently consists of six members: Shownu, Joohoney, Minhyuk, I.M, Kihyun, and Hyungwon. The group is widely known for combining K-pop with pop, EDM, and hip-hop.

Monsta X's Do What I Want music video, which is currently doing the rounds on various social media platforms, features all the members of the group, who are looking supercool as they dance, sing, play pool, and do a bunch of other things in the video.

According to a press release, as reported by Access, Monsta X's Do What I Want was written by Joohoney and I.M., while the composition was done by Joohoney. As per Access, the press release read:

Structurally crafted with melody and performance in mind, it’s primed for an explosive impact on stage and reaffirms the group’s commanding presence."

Monsta X's upcoming mini album, The X, which is scheduled to be released on September 1, 2025, besides Do What I Want, will feature other tracks such as Tuscan Leather, N the Front, Fire & Ice, Savior, and Catch Me Now.
