The Temper Trap 2025 Australian intimate tour: Presale, dates, venues, and more explored

Australian indie-rock band The Temper Trap are officially set to make a comeback with new music and upcoming live shows. The group has announced a run of intimate Australian dates for October 2025. It will be their first on home soil in years.

The announcement comes following the release of their comeback single "Lucky Dimes" in August 2025, which was their first in nine years. The newly announced intimate Australian tour is being presented by Frontier Touring and MG Live. The shows will be held in relatively smaller venues across Brisbane, Melbourne, and Sydney.

The group will also extend their run with previously announced stops in the UK, Canada, and the United States in November 2025 before joining the lineup of Australia's Beyond The Valley festival at the end of the year.

The Temper Trap took to their official Instagram handle to announce the 2025 AU leg, captioning:

The Temper Trap were formed in Melbourne in 2005. Their debut album, Conditions, and its hit single, "Sweet Disposition," received notable acclaim from fans. They have released three albums so far: Conditions (2009), The Temper Trap (2012), and Thick as Thieves (2016).

Following the release of Thick as Thieves, The Temper Trap stepped away from recording. However, DJs such as John Summit, Vintage Culture, and Lost Frequencies have reimagined "Sweet Disposition" recently. The band's track "Love Lost" also resurfaced after being included in Mac Miller's reissued Faces mixtape in 2021.
