On May 2, 2025, BTS' RM and Tablo dropped their collaborative track ‘Stop the Rain.’ The duo dropped both the audio across all streaming platforms along with an official music video on YouTube.
Daniel Armand Lee, aka Tablo, is a South Korean-Canadian rapper and songwriter who partnered with Namjoon for Stop the Rain.
Fans of BTS's RM and Tablo were impressed with their new release. As a result, fans inundated social media with their appreciation for their track. One user on X stated:

Many other fans gave their mixed reactions to Namjoon’s new song. While others described it as a wonderful song, others referred to it as poignant and healing artistry. Another fan dubbed RM and Tablo as the best collab of the year.

BTS' RM’s Stop The Rain debuted at #1 on both Worldwide iTunes Song Chart and European iTunes Song Chart
Shortly after it’s launch, Namjoon and Tablo’s joint track, Stop the Rain, made its place into Worldwide iTunes and European iTunes Song Chart. The newly released song reached #1 on iTunes in 40+ countries around the world as reported by @Bangtan7_Stream.
Stop the Rain also joined BTS’ j-hope’s collaborative track Sweet Dreams as the only 2025 song by K-pop acts to reach #1 on US iTunes. Sweet Dreams was released on March 7, 2025.
BTS' RM is currently performing his military service in South Korea. He began his army training in December 2023, and his discharge is planned for June this year.
Kim Taehyung, SUGA, Jimin, and Jungkook are other members of BTS, who are also serving their terms in Korean military. They all will be released in the similar month like RM.
