On August 29, BTS' J-Hope shared a TikTok video on his personal account dancing to CORTIS' song GO. Shortly after Hobi's dance challenge came out, the newly formed boy band shared another video on their social media account, thanking and bowing to BTS' J-Hope. The five-member K-pop boy band launched their track GO recently, on August 18.
For those unaware, both BTS and CORTIS are managed by HYBE-owned BIGHIT Music. The gesture of CORTIS toward BTS' J-Hope elicited mixed reactions from fans, who flooded the internet with their comments on the video. One of them on X commented:

While many labeled their gesture as dramatic, others said it was also respectful at the same time. Another fan demanded a TikTok collab between BTS' J-Hope and CORTIS:

As seen in the GO dance challenge video, J-Hope was wearing shorts with a jacket. Online fans quickly noticed the tattoos on Hobi's legs right above his knees. His tattoos read, "I'm your HOPE, You're my hope," with the message split across both legs of BTS' J-Hope.
