Cardi B reportedly recruited the help of Summer Walker for two tracks on her latest album, AM I THE DRAMA?, and fans are here for it.

News has made its way to X that the rapper, whose second studio album comes out tomorrow, September 19, under Atlantic Records, collaborated with Walker for two of its tracks: Dead and Shower Tears.

Scores online are gushing over the news, with many referring to the two as powerhouses in music. Here's how one user reacted, for instance:

"This combo is gonna be so smooth"

The comments didn't end there:

"Cardi bringing Summer Walker in twice means she knew the vibes had to be unmatched," one fan gushed.
"lol couldn’t get SZA so she went to summer," another naysayer weighed in.
"They finnna eat with them heartbreak songs," someone else quipped.
"So excited to hear Summer Walker on those tracks! The collab is going to be [fire emoji]," a fourth user weighed in.

See how the rest of social media is reacting:

"Dead + Shower Tears… yeah imma need tissues and therapy," someone quipped.
"Summer and Cardi together is always fire. Their chemistry on 'Dead' got me through a breakup last month," another weighed in.
"and that’s because SZA didn’t send her vocals," yet another naysayer chimed in.
"Summer on both the opener and the heartbreak track? Cardi really said we’re starting and ending in our feelings," one more added.

Here's everything Cardi B has been up to in recent months: Her pregnancy, new music, and more

Cardi B didn't just enlist Summer Walker in making her new album. AM I THE DRAMA?, her first album since 2018, boasts 23 tracks and features from the likes of Selena Gomez on Pick It Up, Kehlani on Safe, Lizzo on What’s Goin On, Cash Cobain on Better Than You, Lourdiz on On My Back, Janet Jackson on Principal, Tyla on Nice Guy, and Megan Thee Stallion on WAP.

Billboard has reported that fans were upset to see WAP on the list, as many of them had assumed that there was another collaboration with Megan on the way, as opposed to the 2020 track that dominated the Billboard Hot 100. However, Cardi B addressed the flak in June, when she penned on X:

“WAP and Up are two of my biggest songs, my fans have been asking me to put them on an album, and people search for them on IOP all the time… they deserve a home.”

In other news, the songstress confirmed just this week that she is expecting her fourth child and first with boyfriend Stefon Diggs. Speaking with Gayle King on CBS Mornings, she said:

“Yes, I am [pregnant]. I’m having a baby with my boyfriend, Stefon Diggs. I’m excited. I’m happy. I feel like I’m in a good space. I feel very strong. I feel very powerful that I’m doing all this work. But I’m doing all this work while I’m creating a baby, and me and my man, we’re very supportive of each other.”

Cardi B will also be hitting the road for her Little Miss Drama tour, which kicks off in California this November and wraps up in Atlanta in April next year.
