Sabrina Carpenter has fans all riled up with the mysterious billboards spread all over Los Angeles.
Photos going viral online show some of these billboards to have nothing but plain white backgrounds with loud red lettering.
“I swear they choose me, I’m not choosing them," one reads, while another says, "AMEN." A third says, "HEY MEN!"
Fans have since begun rejoicing at the prospect of a new release, with many flocking to X to deliver their own opinions. Here's what one user penned, for instance:
"this is gonna be her espresso"
The comments didn't end there:
"She is music INDUSTRY," one user gushed.
"She saw that there’s no song of the summer and had to act up quick," someone else quipped.
"Sabrina casually coming to save 2025, we cheer!" yet another fan cheered on.
"SHES COMING TO SAVE SUMMER," a fourth user quipped.
Even more chimed in to gush over Sabrina Carpenter:
"Shes coming to carry summer once again after seeing all those flops like gnarly," one user claimed.
"AND BEYONCÉ JUST HAD BILLBOARD OUT FOR HER EMMY NOMINATION .. the collab is coming," someone else speculated.
"Sabrina Carpenter is one of the most versatile pop artist of our time so much talent and she is nice and sweet," another gushed over the songstress.
"OKAYY THIS IS BIGGER THAN A MUSIC VIDEO WHAT IS HAPPENING OMGGG," one more questioned, excitedly.
Fans online are visibly excited to learn what the songstress has in store for them.
Here's everything we know about Sabrina Carpenter's forthcoming track, Manchild:
Billboard has reported that Sabrina Carpenter, who dominated the summer of 2024 with her track, Espresso, has announced that her new song, Manchild, is forthcoming.
The songstress took to social media to break the news to her fans, coupled with a photo of the track's cover art— a photo of the former Disney child star sticking her thumb up as she tries to hitchhike while sporting a white button-down. Manchild comes out at 8 p.m. ET on Thursday, June 5.
“this one’s about you!!” she captioned the image.
The Grammy-winning songstress also caught fans' attention when she shared a video of herself, clad in some cutoff shorts and high heels, standing beside her suitcase on a dusty path. While her thumb is held high to try and hitchhike, a truck passes by, causing her to look offended before raising her hand again anyway.
“Oh boy,” she can be heard saying in a cheeky voice over.
The Girl Meets World alum's new song comes on the heels of her Short n’ Sweet deluxe edition, which dropped in February. It featured additional tracks like 15 Minutes, Couldn’t Make It Any Harder, Busy Woman, and Bad Reviews, in addition to a remix of Please Please Please, featuring Dolly Parton.
The forthcoming single also comes days ahead of her headlining set at Primavera Sound. She pulled a similar move last year when she teased fans with Espresso days before she was to take to the stage for her headlining set at Coachella.
The songstress is currently on a break from the road for her Short n’ Sweet Tour, which kicked off last fall in North America before she traversed across Europe in spring.
In more personal news, Nylon has also pointed out that this will be Sabrina Carpenter's first track since her breakup with actor Barry Keoghan, so it remains to be seen just how telling of their time together the track may or may not be.
