Fans are gushing over Beabadoobee’s opening act for Colplay's recent performance at Wembley Stadium.

Chris Martin and the rest of the band kicked off the UK leg of their Music of the Spheres world tour just this week. As part of one of their 10 sold-out shows at Wembley Stadium, they had Beabadoobee for their opening act.

The indie-pop star will also be performing tomorrow, and based on the preview she gave concertgoers today, fans attending the next show are in for a treat. Here's how one user reacted to a video of her performance on X, for instance:

"This is lit"

Scores online echoed the sentiments:

"beabadoobee’s sound is going to be magic in a stadium like Wembley," one fan opined.
"Coldplay fans are gonna be in for a shock when they hear Beabadoobee's grungy vibes before the stadium pop. Honestly it's wild seeing her go from bedroom indie girl to opening Wembley, that's a massive jump," someone else pointed out.
"coldplay needs bea more than bea needs coldplay tbh. girl's about to steal the whole show and leave chris martin questioning his career choices," another fan quipped.
"Is this a persons name?" a naysayer quipped.

"It's amazing to see how far she's come," someone noted.
"She killed the performance, and the crew is amazing too," another opined.
"That’s such a killer combo – her gritty, bedroom-pop vibe playing in Wembley is going to blow folks away before Coldplay even hits the stage," one more pointed out.
"Saw them last night! Beabadoobee killed it as opener. Crowd was already hyped before Coldplay even hit the stage," a concertgoer noted.

Here's everything Beabadoobee has been up to in recent years:

Beabadoobee also made headlines back in June when she took to the stage alongside Jim Paredes of APO Hiking Society while on her second night in Manila. They delivered an acoustic rendition of APO’s hit song, “Panalangin,” while Jim strummed the guitar.

Jim had reportedly shared the story of how their collaboration came to be on Facebook, noting that Beabadoobee’s dad, Oliver, had texted him to thank him for sharing her cover of “Panalangin." He then invited Jim to watch the show live, and he accepted the offer.

“We met Bea and she asked if I could sing ‘Panalangin’ with her. I said yes. We ran it a few times,” Jim said.

The songstress echoed the love when she told Jim that she grew up listening to APO Hiking Society’s songs:

“It was the soundtrack of her childhood,” Jim said. “We sang a few lines of ‘Ewan,’ ‘Princesa,’ ‘Awit ng Barkada,’ and she was in tears while singing. She could not believe that she was actually singing it with an original APO. It was almost unbelievable for the two of us. What a night. And a thrill. Many thanks Bea and Oliver. Enjoy the rest of the tour,” he added.

Fans can expect to see the Filipina UK-raised artist open for Colplay tomorrow as well. She recently had her own sold-out shows at the New Frontier Theater on August 12 and 13.
