Tool expand 2025 Australian tour: Presale, new dates, venues, and more explored

Progressive metal act Tool have officially expanded their 2025 Australian tour. They have added a second show in Adelaide due to reported overwhelming demand.

This extension announcement follows Tool's earlier confirmation of headline shows in Adelaide and Perth, alongside their return to headline the Good Things Festival in December 2025. The extended tour now features two nights at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre: on Friday, November 28, and Saturday, November 29, 2025.

Then, the band will be heading west for a performance at Perth's RAC Arena on Tuesday, December 2, 2025. Byron Bay rockers HEADSEND will be supporting Tool on these shows.

Tool took to their official Instagram page to share the initial tour announcement, captioning:

"Australia! Tool is coming back to Perth and Adelaide! Be sure to register for TOOL ARMY to gain early access to tickets. Pre-sales begin on Thursday Oct 2nd at 12 pm Australia time (Oct 1st 7 pm PST) LINK IN BIO"

The band's upcoming 2025 Australian visit is their first local shows in over five years and their first in Adelaide since 2013. The tour also coincides with the band's headline slot at Good Things 2025, which will see them perform in Melbourne, Sydney, and Brisbane. It will also be their first Australian festival headline appearance since the Big Day Out in 2011.

Outside of Australia, the band is also set to perform two shows in Auckland, New Zealand, before heading to Japan for dates in Yokohama and Kobe. This will be followed by two closing performances in Hawaii.
