TWICE’s Tzuyu credits BTS for K-pop’s global rise, fans react with praise: “Goat recognizes other goats”

TWICE’s Tzuyu recently made headlines for her comment on BTS’ contribution to the K-pop industry. On July 11, 2025, Forbes published an interview with the girl group TWICE, in this interview Tzuyu mentioned the seven-member boy band while talking about the contributions made by several artists in the expansion of K-pop industry on global platform.

"There are so many kpop artists who worked so hard so that kpop can take the center stage. Many artists worked hard to contribute, and BTS played a big role in that,” Tzuyu commented.

Fans of BTS were delighted to know how Tzuyu acknowledged the boy band. Therefore, their fans flooded the internet with appreciation for the TWICE member. One of them on X commented:

Many other fans react to the female idol’s comment. While some highlighted TWICE has always been vocal about the boy band's contributions, others admired the female group for being respectful to fellow idols.

“The way twice members have ALWAYS accepted & respected that BTS did in fact played a huge role & truly contributed in exposing the industry to the world.. bcs it's actually true & theres literally nothing wrong in acknowledging it.. others should learn, be like twice!!,” a fan commented.

Some fans described Tzuyu as Beauty with Brain, while others said she is talented, educated, young, and beautiful. Another fan referred to TWICE as the biggest girl group and Tzuyu as queen.
