Urbandub x Typecast 25th anniversary world tour 2026: Everything we know so far

Two of the Philippines’ most beloved rock bands, arguably, Urbandub and Typecast, are officially taking their 25th-anniversary celebration to global stages. After wrapping up a run of shows in the Philippines earlier this year, the two acts have announced an extension of their Urbandub x Typecast 25th Anniversary Tour to international stages in 2026.

The world tour will include stops in Singapore, London, Melbourne, and Sydney. The news follows a string of 2025 shows in the Philippines and Canada. Both bands have now become renowned names in the OPM (Original Pilipino Music) rock scene.

Urbandub and Typecast have shared the stage multiple times previously. This upcoming joint world tour will celebrate two and a half decades of their music. However, exact international tour dates and venues have yet to be announced.

The bands took to their official Instagram pages to announce the upcoming 2026 global run, captioning:

"We have shared stages, stories, and a whole lot of memories. Now, we are taking it worldwide. Urbandub x Typecast 25th Anniversary World Tour, happening this February 2026! 🇸🇬 Singapore • 🇬🇧 London • 🇦🇺 Melbourne • 🇦🇺 Sydney Let's make more memories together. See you on the road! 🖤"

On Sunday, November 2, 2025, the two bands officially announced through social media that their collaborative 25th Anniversary World Tour will officially go global in February 2026.

Urbandub were formed in Cebu City in 2000. Typecast took shape in Laguna in 1999. In their early days, the bands often performed in small bars and independent events within the country's underground rock scene. They started collaborating in the early 2000s.

The 25th-anniversary tour officially kicked off in April 2025, with two shows in the Philippines:

• Sunday, April 6, 2025, Quezon City, at New Frontier Theater
• Saturday, April 12, 2025, Baguio City, at Baguio Convention Center

These shows were presented by Numinous Philippines, Udub Presents, TTP Events, Variant Productions, and Daybreak Entertainment. The anniversary concerts were directed by Paolo Valenciano.

Urbandub opened the Manila concert with "Face In the Woods." They followed it up with hits like "Evidence", "Frailty", and "First of Summer". On the other hand, Typecast also played a notable set featuring "Reverend's Daughter", "The Boston Drama", "Will You Ever Learn", and "Forget." For the encore, both bands shared the stage to perform Taking Back Sunday's "MakeDamnSure" and Deftones' "Be Quiet and Drive."

Now, the upcoming 2026 leg will include four stops at Singapore; London, United Kingdom; Melbourne, Australia; and Sydney, Australia. Official venue details and ticket sales info have not yet been released. Hence, fans are advised to keep an eye on the official pages for presale announcements and regional ticketing info.
