South Korea's iconic water festival, Waterbomb Festival, has returned to the Southeast Asian country for its second edition. Waterbomb Festival will make a comeback to Siloso Beach, Sentosa, from 30 to 31 August 2025, and is part of the Viu Scream Dates initiatives and presented by DBS Bank.

Upon entering the festival, the audiences have to pick either Team Sky or Team Pink, which the artists will be split into. Both the teams will engage in water fights and showdowns. Last year's roaster included big names in the Asian music industry like BamBam and Bibi.

Over the years, the Waterbomb festival has made appearances in Thailand, Japan, and the Philippines.

August 30, Saturday

The first day of the festival will see performances from EXID (Team Sky), a K-pop girl group consisting of five members, Huta who is Minhyuk of BTOB (Team Pink), Team BEBE (Team Sky), Sorn and Seungyeon (Team Sky), WHYLUCAS (Team Pink), JAM REPUBLIC (Team Sky), SHINee's Minho (Team Pink), and SHINee's Taemin (Team Sky).

August 31, Sunday

The second day of the festival will feature GOT7's Jay B (Team Sky), Ash Island (Team Sky), Anson Lo (Team Sky), Estelle Fly (Team Pink), JUNNY (Team Pink), and 2NE1 (Team Pink).

South Korean rapper and Earth Arcade star Lee Young-ji was announced recently as the final addition. The 22-year-old gained recognition in 2019, after she won the reality show High School Rapper 3. She also gained regional popularity as a member of the hit show Earth Arcade and has contributed chart-topping singles such as Small Girl and Fighting.

Pre-sale for the DBS Fresh Live Candidates began on May 14, with a 15% discount, and general sales for the festival tickets opened on May 16, 2025, and were priced at $228 for a one-day pass and $388 for a two-day pass. Premium passes were priced at $258 for one day and $458 for two-day passes. The premium pass includes access to the Chill Zone, free-flow non-alcoholic drinks, re-entry privileges, and a dedicated entry line.

The festival will also host meet and greets with GOT7's Jay B and EXID, and 200 group photo passes were put up for sale. Tickets purchased between 8 and 16th May will be eligible for a lucky draw, and winners will be announced in early August. Tickets are available via Pelago.
