It looks like Ghostface has officially declared itself a Taylor Swift fan, a.k.a. a Swiftie.
The official X account of the antagonist in the Scream franchise took to X to share a photo of the figure, clad in its usual black robe and haunting mask, standing in front of an orange background. Its caption read:
"We like orange. @taylorswift13"
The tweet is a reaction to Taylor Swift announcing that she will be dropping her 12th studio album, The Life of a Showgirl. The announcement comes on the heels of 24 hours of speculation among fans.

As reported by BBC News, on Monday morning, Taylor Swift's marketing team took to social media to share a string of 12 images, while the caption read:
"Thinking about when she said 'See you next era…"
Shortly after, her boyfriend, Kansas City Chiefs' tight end, Travis Kelce, confirmed that she would be making an appearance on his New Heights podcast. Furthermore, her official website also began a mysterious countdown to 00:12 ET (05:12 BST). Fans promptly began speculating that the album would be announced on the 12th day of the month at 12:12 a.m. ET.
As pointed out by People Magazine, she made the announcement herself during the podcast appearance. In a video shared on Instagram, Taylor Swift, 35, says:
"Can I show you something?"
Her boyfriend responded:
"Okay. What do we got? We got a briefcase? Mint green, with T.S. on it." She concurred. "What's in it?" Jason asked her, to which she said: "This is my brand new album, The Life of a Showgirl." "TS 12!" the 35-year-old cheered her on.
Variety has reported that Spotify billboards have already been popping up around New York City and Nashville. They feature a code that leads viewers to a playlist titled 'And, baby, that’s show business for you.'
As of this writing, it is simply a catalogue of the songstress's tracks. However, fans are likely to begin dissecting its hidden meaning. A few have speculated that all of the tracks were produced by Max Martin and Shellback, suggesting that they could be a vital part in the next project as well.
The songstress dropped her last album, The Tortured Poets Department, in April 2024. Within hours at the time, she expanded it into a double album called 'The Anthology,' which would later come to be known as the best-selling album of the year.
