“Well deserved!”: Netizens rejoice as BTS' Jin becomes First K-pop Soloist With two albums spending 10 weeks on Spotify Global Chart

BTS' Jin recently made headlines for his solo music works. The Running Wild idol made history as the first K-pop solo artist with multiple albums, spending 10 weeks on the Spotify Weekly Top Albums Global Chart. Kim Seokjin, aka Jin, achieved the latest milestone with his two solo albums, namely HAPPY and ECHO. While the former dropped in November 2024, the latter came out in May this year.

Fans of BTS' Jin were glad to know about his latest accomplishment; therefore, they flooded the internet with love and admiration for the idol. One of them on X wrote:

“Well deserved! HAPPY and ECHO are 2 brilliantly made, no-skip albums!”

While many said BTS' Jin deserved this success, others congratulated him for his achievement.

“And these 2 albums were released within a span of 6 months! 2 no-skip albums and now currently touring the world singing all of them with Army. I dreamt of times like this for so long. I'm so proud of Seokjin CONGRATULATIONS JIN,” a fan wrote.

While some hailed him as King, others lauded BTS' Jin as a history maker and record breaker. Another fan stated that Seokjin is effortlessly insane, the most influential, and a global megastar.

BTS' Jin dropped both albums after military discharge

HAPPY and ECHO were released after the military return of Jin. He completed his mandatory training on June 12, 2024. Following this, the idol dropped his first album HAPPY on November 15, 2024. Here’s the tracklist of HAPPY:
