Bhad Bhabie has been honored by the City of Providence, Rhode Island, with an official city citation that acknowledges her influence on hip-hop music and culture. After she performed live in the city earlier this month, the award was given by Providence City Councilman John Goncalves.

The award is a component of Council Goncalves' project to reward 50 local and international artists, influencing Providence's culture, which bills itself as the "Creative Capital." Goncalves clarified the news when posting it on Instagram, which was taken from Bhad Bhabie's story where she thanked Providence City Councilman John Goncalves.

The caption read:

"Proud to welcome Bhad Bhabie to the City of #Providence as she lit up Downtown with her performance! We presented her with an official City citation for impact and her hip-hop artistry."

Goncalves asserts that this recognition focuses on identifying voices that create cultural noise and leave an impression rather than just genre and celebrity. It continued:

"As the Creative Capital, I want to recognize 50 local Providence artists this June - musicians, dancers, DJs, rappers, poets, creatives making noise and shaping culture - regardless of music or genre!"

Bhad Bhabie's shot to fame

Danielle Bregoli shot to fame as a 13-year-old girl in the year, 2016 when she appeared on Dr. Phil. She went viral immediately after her infamous line:

“Cash me ousside, how ’bout dah?”

on the show, which quickly exploded as a meme. Despite facing all the criticism, she has carved out a space for herself as a musician and an influencer since that time under the name Bhad Bhabie.

Her 2017 track, These Heaux, made her the youngest female rapper to appear on the Billboard Hot 100. Platinum-certified songs like Hi Bich and Gucci Flip Flops, starring Lil Yachty, were her next big hits.

In February, she released a diss track titled Ms. Whitman, which targeted Blink-182 drummer's daughter, Alabama Barker, and it went on to top the charts. It is also her highest-charting single yet.

She also went on to collaborate with YG, Lil Yachty, Lil Baby, Kodak Black, and Megan Thee Stallion as well.

Big Success and Influence as an influencer and a rapper

Bhad Bhabie's incredible success has led to her financial success and her influence on social media. She has also gained a lot of attention, particularly for her OnlyFans, which she claims generated over $75 million in net profits for her.

In a recent interview, she disclosed generating $1 million in her first six hours on the site and reaching $4 million by the end of the first day. She admitted all this on rapper DDG's stream, even shocking the rapper himself. The rapper had asked her:

"What’s the most you made in a day on there?"

She said:

"When we first started, I made a million dollars in six hours. And by the end of the day, it was like $4 million."

She continued:

"Now, overall, the net on it is like $75 million. I got properties, cars, all that type of sh*t."

Since then, she has invested the funds in luxury cars and real estate, including a residence in Boca Raton, Florida, for $6.1 million.

In July of last year, she even shared a screenshot of her earnings through OnlyFans, which came to $57 million in net earnings and $71 million in gross profit.

The rapper has expanded her ventures beyond music and social media; she has earned cosmetic agreements, launched a Snapchat show, and is still a contentious but significant presence in pop culture.
