Charli XCX stuns in a flirty yet formal mini white dress at her wedding with The 1975's George Daniel.
Charli XCX and The 1975's drummer George Daniel just tied the knot at a private and small ceremony in Hackney. The singer dressed in the most anti-BRAT fashion, however, still managed to make the look her own.
Charli XCX donned a white structured mini dress and a simple tulle veil placed on her usual wavy, long black hair. The dress featured a sweetheart neckline and was off-the-shoulder. Along with that, the dress had an asymmetrical bottom all around and folds going across below the bodice. Though it is not officially confirmed, based on the look and corsetry, it is safe to assume that the dress could be from British designer Vivienne Westwood. It also looks quite similar to the Vivienne Westwood dress worn by Demi Lovato earlier this year, which also featured the same off-the-shoulder neckline and corset bodice.
The pared-back look was completed with her white bridal bouquet, white pointed-toe heels, and of course, her signature black shades. Her wedding ring was the only piece of jewellery she adorned, as it glinted in the bright daylight.
Daniel opted for a dark navy suit with a double-breasted jacket. An oversized white boutonnière comprised of the same flowers that appeared in the bridal bouquet was pinned to the blazer's lapel, and an off-white shirt underneath.
Charli XCX and Vivienne Westwood
Charli XCX shares a long history with the brand and has often been spotted wearing custom designs from the House. Last year, she was spotted wearing the Hebo top featuring VW's Salon artwork from the Autumn-Winter 2024/25 collection.
While during her UK tour, the 365 singer was spotted in a look designed by Andreas Kronthaler for Vivienne Westwood for her London show. The look consisted of a satin blue custom corseted bodysuit worn over dark grey leggings, embellished with crystals, and a pair of patent leather platform heels. The look could not have been complete without her black shades.
Another notable VW look from the singer includes an archival white corset with black stripes she wore at the Magnum Party in Cannes, walking hand and hand with model Amelia Gray. The look was much more impactful as she was paying homage to Kate Moss’ 1994 runway moment where the model wore a skirt with the same print and was eating an ice cream while walking.
The new couple is planning to have a bigger, no-expense-spared, "six-figure" budget event in Sicily later this year, and begs the question, what look will Charli XCX go for?
