Ella Langley, the 26-year-old country star who was scheduled to open for Morgan Wallen during his I’m the Problem Tour in August, has announced that she has cancelled her shows to focus on her health.
In her Instagram post shared on Monday, August 11, 2025, Ella Langley cited exhaustion and illness as the reason behind the cancellation. Taking to her Instagram account, she wrote in the caption:
“I’m so sad to be posting this. The past several weeks have been tough. I’ve been fighting sickness and feeling more run down than ever. After a lot of thought I’ve made the hard decision to take a couple of weeks to rest and focus on my health — mind, body and heart… Sometimes we have to listen when our bodies and hearts are telling us to slow down.”
She further told her fans that she wants to be “fully present for all the moments ahead” and so wants to take care of herself first.
After releasing her album Hungover in 2024, she followed it with the hit single "You Look Like You Love Me." Her net worth, per Celebrity Net Worth, is $4 million. Here is more about her fortune.
What do we know about Ella Langley’s fortune ?
Ella Langley’s success as a rising star in country music is attributed to her income from multiple sources, including her record sales, tour performances, streaming royalties, merchandise, and brand endorsements.
She was born on May 3, 1999, and raised in Hope Hull, Alabama. She started her career by performing in bars and at local festivals before moving to Nashville in 2019. She attended the Hooper Academy, where she performed in talent hunt shows. She then went to Troy University and later shifted to Auburn University, where she majored in Forestry but did not graduate after she dropped out of university.

Following the release of her single "You Look Like You Love Me" with Riley Green, Ella Langley sparked dating rumors with the singer. However, she later clarified that they are “just good friends.” Her single took her to new heights as it made it to the Billboard Hot 100. The single, which was part of her 2024 album Hungover, resonated with many, earning her the spot for her first No. 1 single on Country radio.
Her biography on her official website noted that she got the opportunity to tour with top artists like Morgan Wallen, Cody Johnson, Koe Wetzel, Dierks Bentley, Luke Bryan, and many more. According to Finance Monthly, Ella Langley has benefited from millions of digital streams and online engagements, which further add to her income.
This is not the first time Langley has spoken about her health. In May 2025, she addressed her mental health challenges and told The Scotty Kay Show:
“I won’t lie, this last week has been probably one of the toughest mental health weeks I’ve had in a long time. Which is crazy, because so many good things are happening. So many things I’ve prayed for and dreamed about.”
She added:
“It’s just the disease of my family, really. I think it’s important to talk about it and to share that just because I might seem like I’m on the top of the mountain right now, it doesn’t look like that all the time.”
For now, it has not been reported when Langley will be resuming her music career, as she has recently announced a break to focus on her health.
