What was Ezra Furman's debut solo album? Musician announces 2026 UK and European tour

Ezra Furman is hitting the road once again. The Chicago-born singer-songwriter has announced a 14-date tour across the UK and Europe set for early 2026, in support of her latest studio album, Goodbye Small Head.

Released in May 2025 via Bella Union, Goodbye Small Head marks Furman’s tenth studio album and continues to showcase her genre-defying sound and raw lyrical power. She first made waves with her debut solo album, The Year of No Return, back in 2012, and she hasn’t looked back since.

The newly announced tour is set to begin in Vienna, Austria, on January 19, 2026, and wrap up at the O2 Forum Kentish Town in London on February 4, 2026. The tour will take Ezra Furman through multiple cultural centres, including Berlin, Paris, Amsterdam, and Glasgow.

Ezra Furman took to her official Instagram handle to share the tour announcement, captioning:

"My band and I are returning to the UK and Europe early next year. We are going to be joined by the excellent @modernw0man for all dates. Tickets on sale Friday 11th July @ 9 am (GMT) / 10 am (CET)"

The announcement follows Ezra Furman's recent North American tour and appearance on BBC's Later… with Jools Holland, where she performed material from the new album.

Furman's career began over a decade ago when she released her debut solo album in 2012, following earlier work with her band Ezra Furman and the Harpoons. Across her ten studio albums, records such as Perpetual Motion People (2015), Transangelic Exodus (2018), and All of Us Flames (2022) have received significant acclaim from fans and enthusiasts.
