Disney fans, assemble! Demi Lovato and Joe Jonas reportedly reunited for a nostalgic performance at the Jonas Brothers’ MetLife Stadium concert on August 10. The Jonas Brothers kicked off their Jonas20: Greetings From Your Home Town tour in New Jersey and were joined by a surprise performance with Demi Lovato.

According to Cosmopolitan magazine, Joe Jonas and Demi Lovato reportedly began dating in 2010, approximately three years after filming Disney’s Camp Rock. In a 2013 interview with Vulture magazine, Joe Jonas revealed that they dated for a very brief period—approximately “a month.” He explained that they parted ways due to individual differences and noted:

“We eventually dated for a month. I really got to know her and got to see the ins and outs of what she was struggling with, like drug abuse."

He added:

“I felt like I needed to take care of her, but at the same time, I was living a lie because I wasn't happy but felt like I had to stay in it for her because she needed help. I couldn't express any of that, of course, because I had a brand to protect.”

The news outlet reported that even after their breakup, the duo continued to be friends.

Demi Lovato and Joe Jonas reunite for a throwback Camp Rock performance at Jonas Brothers’ MetLife concert

Jonas Brothers are celebrating 20 years in the music industry, and their tour appears to be a big party with their fans. The brother trio invited their co-actress and singer Demi Lovato for a Camp Rock reunion moment on their first day of the Jonas20: Greetings From Your Home Town tour. MetLife shared a clip of Demi Lovato and Joe Jonas' performance of This Is Me from Camp Rock. They also sang their duet Wouldn’t Change A Thing from their movie Camp Rock 2.

This is not the first time the duo have performed together since their breakup. According to InStyle magazine, they performed together in 2016 and attended the 2017 Vanity Fair party. Lovato also reportedly congratulated Jonas on his engagement to his ex-partner, Sophie Turner.

Demi and Joe’s reunion performance reportedly reignited speculations about Camp Rock 3. While there hasn’t been an official confirmation, the duo’s performance left concertgoers excited and looking forward to more. The Jonas Brothers are set to make their next stop at Jiffy Lube Live in Virginia on August 12.
