Korean boy band NOWADAYS has rebranded itself and has officially changed its name to NOWZ. The group of five, including Siyun, Jinhyuk, Hyeonbin, Yoon, and Yeonwoon, debuted on April 2, 2024. A year after their debut, Cube Entertainment, the group's agency, confirmed the rebranding of the group's name via social media on June 2, 2025.

Cube Entertainment released a new logo motion, potentially signally the group's new identity. The group debuted in the Korean music scene with their album, Nowadays, which featured the title track, OoWee. On their debut, the group described their genre as "Days-Pop", which is "geared toward offering music that resonates with everyone, no matter the time or place", per Korea Times. Cube has changed the logo across all social media platforms.

Cube Entertainment unveiled the transition video of the group's name change from NOWADAYS to NOWZ. In a press release, Cube confirmed the rebranding and stated,

“Through the rebranding, we will reset the band’s identity and become a mainstream group with versatility."

According to the Korean news outlets, the NOW represents the "present", whereas Z represents "infinite possibilities and new beginnings." The rebranding comes two months after the group celebrated its first anniversary in the music industry. While it is unclear if the group will be releasing new music this year, the rebranding indicates a new and unique chapter in their journey.

According to the Korean news outlet Chosun Biz, the group has won various newcomer accolades, including the Blooming Star Award at the 2024 Hanteo Music Awards. More recently, the group won the ASEA Hot Trend Award at the 2025 ASEA Awards.


Rebranding is a common strategy in the music industry, which allows artists to take a new direction in their journey. Upon their debut, the group emphasised that they would bring their "distinctive identity" to the Korean music industry with "Days-Pop". While the information is kept under wraps, fans expressed excitement as the new identity was revealed.
