A$AP Rocky, who is set to welcome his third child with Rihanna, recently opened up about how both of them have decided to name their child "Denzel," regardless of gender. According to Daily Mail, while it is not exactly known when Rihanna is due, it is speculated that she is going to give birth sometime in the fall, likely between September and November.

Back in July, Rihanna was spotted out with her two sons at the premiere of her then upcoming movie "Smurfs." Her sons, RZA and Riot, aged three and one, were seen walking the red carpet while holding onto the ‘Umbrella’ singer. The news of Rihanna's third pregnancy had previously been rumored for some time, but was first confirmed at the 2025 Met Gala back in May.

Rihanna and A$AP Rocky have been in a relationship since 2020, having known each other for several years. Although the couple are not married, they have referred to each other as husband and wife on different occasions. In his recent interview with GQ, A$AP Rocky revealed the name the couple had planned for their child, saying that the baby was named in honor of actor Denzel Washington. He said:

"Denzel, no matter what. The first female come out named Denzel, it’s lit. We got it figured out."

A$AP Rocky also talked about his views on fatherhood and how it has affected him. He said:

"I got nothing but love to give to these little ones. And as you can see, that’s what occupies a lot of my heart capacity, is my family.”

He further added:

"I think the evolution of who I am as a person, as an individual, as a dad, an artist, as far as being a parent at that time. Just quite fucking interesting if you ask me, to see in front of everybody’s eyes how much I’ve been yearning to be a dad, and a loving dad. So, I got nothing but love to give to these little ones. And as you can see, that’s what occupies a lot of my heart capacity, is my family."

He also shared how he and Rihanna already allow their children to listen to their music, and said:

"Now, if they wanted to. They don’t request their parents’ music. They can’t even develop the concept of having famous parents at this moment. They don’t have a consciousness of self at the moment, or knowledge itself. Their little brains are still developing, so whenever they’re ready, they can listen to my music. I need them to know Dad is a rockstar, Mommy’s a rockstar. It’s okay."

As the couple have not yet revealed the gender of their child, it has left fans to continuously speculate about the same.
