Bad Bunny, whose real name is Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio, will headline the 2026 Super Bowl LX Halftime Show, airing live on February 8 from the Bay Area on NBC and streaming on Peacock. Speaking about his upcoming performance, Bunny said,

"What I'm feeling goes beyond mysekf. It's for those who came before me and ran countless yards so I could come in and score a touchdown...this is for my people, my culture and our history. Ve y dile a tu abuela, que seremos el HALFTIME SHOW DEL SUPER BOWL."

This will be the second time Benny will be taking the stage at a Super Bowl halftime show. Earlier, he appeared as a guest performer during Shakira and Jennifer Lopez's set in 2020.

Apple Music's Zane Lowe, Ebro Darden, and more will be live on September 29 at 9:30 am ET across Apple Music Radio to discuss the February Super Bowl Halftime Show. The Apple Music Super Bowl LX Halftime Show telecast is set to be produced by DPS with Roc Nation and Jesse Collins as executive producers and Hamish Hamilton as director.

Jay-Z, co-founder of Roc Nation, plays a role in selecting the Super Bowl Halftime Show performer. In 2019, he and Roc Nation partnered with the NFL, appointing him as the league’s “live music entertainment strategist.” While congratulating Bad Bunny, Jay-Z said in a statement,

"What Benito has done and continues to do for Puerto Rico is truly inspiring. We are honored to have him on the world's biggest stage."

Job Barker, senior VP of global event production for the NFL, in a statement, also acknowledged Bad Bunny's music skills and said,

"Bad Bunny represents the global energy and cultural vibrancy that define today's music scene. As one of the most influential and streamed artists in the world, his unique ability to bridge genres, languages and audiences makesh him an exciting and natural choice to take the Super Bowl halftime stage."

Barker also added,

"We know his dynamic performances, creative vision and deep connection with fans will deliver the kind of unfortgettable experience we've come to expect from this iconic cultural moment."

2026 will be the seventh year that the halftime show will be programmed by Roc Nation and the fourth year that Apple Music will be presenting the sponsor.
