The Who have officially announced the final stop of their North American farewell tour. The legendary rock band is all set to close out their long touring journey in the United States with a concert at Acrisure Arena in Palm Desert, California, on Wednesday, October 1, 2025.

The show has been added as the ultimate finale of The Song Is Over --The North American Farewell Tour. However, originally, the last performance was scheduled for September 28, 2025, at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. Now, The Who's final bow on American soil will take place in Southern California's Coachella Valley.

The Who took to their official Instagram page to announce their final North American farewell tour stops. The post read:

"We are pleased to announce that The Who are coming to Acrisure Arena, Greater Palm Springs, CA on October 1st for the last time on The Song is Over The Final Public Show on the North American Farewell Tour! Tickets on sale this Wednesday, September 17th @ 10 AM local at Ticketmaster.com"

The Who also shared a post about tonight's show:

"Tonight is the second of our two rescheduled shows on The Song Is Over: The North American Farewell tour and tonight we are at Jim Whelan's Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, NJ with our very special guest the fabulous Leslie Mendelson."

The post continued:

"It's a beautiful day and what better way to spend your Friday than seeing Pete Townshend and Roger Daltrey and their great band of musicians. Your tickets from the postponed show are still valid and we hope to see you at Boardwalk Hall tonight. Happy Friday, Wholigans!"

The band first revealed plans for their farewell tour earlier in 2025. Roger Daltrey and Pete Townshend announced the "The Song Is Over" series of shows at a press event in London. Both members made it clear that they will continue to play music. However, this run of shows will be their last tour in the United States and Canada.
