Taylor Swift has opened up about her taste in music.
The global pop icon, who dropped her twelfth studio album, The Life of a Showgirl, recently, spoke to SiriusXM Hits 1 for a new interview. In it, she opened up about the artists she has been listening to lately and how she supports her fellow musicians.
"I'm a fan of all of the artists that are coming up right now," she said. "Like, honestly, Sabrina Carpenter is one of my favorite artists. But you also look around and see that Tate McRae is amazing, Sombr is amazing, there's so many incredible artists right now that I just love listening to. So, I guess I'm supporting them by streaming their music constantly in my house."

The songstress, 35, re-launched her very own SiriusXM channel called Taylor's Channel 13. It kicked off on Saturday, September 20, and will run through Sunday, October 19. Those interested across North America can tune in via their cars on satellite channel 13 as well as on the official SiriusXM app.
13 days ahead of the release of her album, the radio channel played a blend of Taylor Swift's biggest hits and live renditions of some of these songs.
Scott Greenstein, SiriusXM’s President and Chief Content Officer, said in a statement, per People Magazine:
“Taylor Swift continues to not only dominate the music world, but also every aspect of pop culture. Her chart-topping, award-winning songs resonate with every generation of listeners, and we are thrilled to deliver our subscribers a place to celebrate their fandom and the new album with the launch of Taylor’s Channel 13."
He went on,
“SiriusXM has proudly supported Taylor from the very beginning of her career and championed her artistry every step of the way. The channel is a unique destination for fans to connect in a way like never before, hear her music across all eras of her legendary career and celebrate The Life of a Showgirl in a uniquely SiriusXM way."
According to CBS News, the songstress also made waves this weekend when she debuted the Official Release Party of a Showgirl film. Per the outlet, it garnered a staggering $34 million in ticket sales across the U.S.
The film, which streams for a limited time only, debuted on October 3, the same day her album came out. The movie earned a gross total of $50 million, the outlet has reported, and was also the top movie in the country this past weekend. It featured the world premiere of the music video of Taylor Swift's song The Fate of Ophelia, alongside behind-the-scenes footage.
As for her album, per the outlet, although reviews were mixed, The Life of a Showgirl was Spotify's most-streamed album in a single day within 11 hours of its debut.
