Posh Spice or Victoria Beckham, has "pretty much ruled herself out" from the allegedly upcoming Spice Girls reunion. As per reports, the iconic girl group, will be getting together to celebrate the 30th anniversary of their hit single Wannabe.

Beckham was also absent from their last reunion tour in 2019, which included 13 concerts across the UK and Ireland.

A source, while speaking to The Sun in an article published on April 29, mentioned that Geri Horner, or Ginger Spice, is in touch with band guru Simon Fuller to plan a reunion of the band by allegedly going on a world tour next year.

The source mentioned,

"There have been rumors swirling for months, but Geri has always been too busy and had other things going on, preventing her from saying Yes. Nothing is yet confirmed but Geri and Simon are back in touch with a myriad of exciting ideas."

He also noted that Victoria Beckham might not be joining the reunion,

"Unfortunately Victoria has pretty much ruled herself out, but there is still a world in which she could do some sort of avatar experience or a special one-off thing. She would always want to honour the girls' history."

Spice Girls were an English girl band formed in 1994 and included 5 members: Mel B (Scary Spice), Melanie C (Sporty Spice), Emma Bunton (Baby Spice), Victoria Beckham (Posh Spice), and Geri Horner (Ginger Spice). The band released their debut single Wannabe in 1996, and sold over 100 million records worldwide before splitting up in 2001.

More about the Spice Girls' alleged reunion

While hinting at a Spice Girls reunion in 2026, the source spoke to The Sun and mentioned that Geri Horner and Simon Fuller are reportedly scheduled to meet next week. Geri will be in Miami later this week to support her husband, Christian Horner, the F1 boss, at the Grand Prix, while Simon has a Red Bull invite.

The source added,

"If Simon were to get involved, this would absolutely take any tour to the next level."

Another band member, Mel C, had also hinted at a reunion while speaking on Australia's 2Day FM in March,

"We have to do something special. Obviously I can't say too much but we are talking about things. Hopefully a nice little world tour."

Spice Girls were known as one of the most iconic girl groups since 1994-2001. The group split up in 2001 after Geri left the band in 1998, and the members went on to pursue their individual careers.
