On June 10, 2025, Kim Taehyung of BTS posted an Instagram Story with his close-knit group of famous friends, the "Wooga Squad," only days after he got out of the military. He shared a touching reunion picture with his fans in the post. The genuine friendship between these "hyungs" (older brothers) has made them famous, much like BTS.
V first met Park Seo-joon on the set of the historical drama Hwarang (2016). Seo-joon then introduced him to Park Hyung-sik, Choi Woo-shik, Peakboy, and others.

In the middle of 2022, the Wooga Squad made their first public appearance on the reality travel show called In the Soop: Friendship Trip, which is a spin-off of HYBE's In the Soop series. The program followed V of BTS and his actor and musician friends on a four-day trip to the Korean countryside.

Park Seo-joon: Park Seo-joon is a well-known actor in South Korea who became famous after starring in successful dramas like Fight for My Way (2017) and Itaewon Class (2020). He has small roles in both the 2017 thriller Midnight Runners and the 2023 Marvel movie The Marvels. Seo-joon is the squad's elder brother and is also recognized for his lovely personality and the YouTube channel he maintains.
Park Hyung-sik: Hyung-sik was a great star in the boy band ZE:A. Therefore, it was a no-brainer for him to switch to acting. He has been a part of Our Blooming Youth (2023), Strong Girl Bong-soon (2017), and Suits (2018). He has a lot of experience in musicals, and critics liked his work in plays like Elizabeth. His strong yet gentle presence keeps the group together.
Choi Woo-shik: Choi Woo-shik, who was born in Canada, became famous all over the world for his roles in the 2016 film Train to Busan and the 2019 Best Picture Oscar winner Parasite. In addition to leading dramas like Our Beloved Summer (2021–2022), he has been a worldwide ambassador for South Korean films.
Peakboy: Debuting in 2017, the multi-talented Peakboy has since released a slew of mini-albums that fuse hip-hop, R&B, and techno sounds. The Wooga Squad's natural camaraderie is a reflection of their reputation for honest songwriting and willingness to work with others.

On June 11, V uploaded a lot of pictures from the Wooga Squad reunion on his Instagram Story. Friends stood next to one another, smiling for the camera, and wore matching "Welcome" T-shirts hand-printed in Hangul. V's simple note, "Thank you," showed how close they were and how much he appreciated the help he had throughout his 18 months in the service.
By the middle of June 2025, all BTS's members are scheduled to finish their military service. Fans are expecting a full-group reunion later this year.
