Rapper Young Bleed, whose real name is Glenn Clifton Jr., has died at the age of 51. His oldest son, Ty'Gee Ramon, announced the news.

Ramon took to Instagram to honor his father with a post on Monday, November 3. He said that his father "gained his wings" on Saturday, November 1, having succumbed to a brain bleed from an aneurysm. He was in Las Vegas at the time, and Ty'Gee Ramon said his father did not have any ailments beforehand, save for blood pressure.

"My dad was 51 years old when this happened to him," Ty'Gee Ramon said. "My dad was never in and out of the hospital... This something you can't prepare for."

As of this writing, not much is known about Ty'Gee Ramon. However, according to Discogs, he is a rapper himself, having begun his career at the age of 11. Based in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, by the age of 18, he was singing in the church choir at New Beginnings Ministry of Baton Rouge.

Shortly after, he signed a contract with Concore Entertainment. Ty'Gee Ramon has since shifted to his father's record label, Trap Door Entertainment, where he dropped his first single, “Who." He is reportedly working on a debut project.

Ty'Gee Ramon gets candid about his dad's shocking demise:

In his post on Instagram, Ty'Gee Ramon, who is the oldest of 5, said:

“Hello, my name is Ty Gee Ramon Clifton and today we’re going to be talking about my dad. As of Nov. 1, my dad gained his wings. This is a tough topic for me, I’m not sure how it’s gonna go, but I’m here to clear up a lot of false narratives. There’s a lot of things that were said and just a lot of mess, you can’t address everything on social media so that’s not the plan, but I know being a legend worldwide a lot of people were concerned for him, they wasn’t sure of what they heard, so I’m here to confirm, as his oldest child that he has gained his wings.”

He continued,

“My dad was 51 years old when this happened to him. He’s born June 6, 1974 and that’s why we have the official date ’cause I saw his age was printed out wrong,” he said. “So the big question, what happened? So my dad didn’t really have no health issues. These are just chapters in life. And I hope after this video that people that have gone through the same thing or are going through grieving moments find peace in this video here.”

Ty'Gee Ramon said that the health emergency took place shortly after a party, adding that there was no foul play involved:

“My dad, like most as you get [up] in age, had high blood pressure. He’d take his medicines and do what he do as a celebrity so not much. After his huge celebration at the Verzuz, he went to an afterparty and that’s where everything kind of spiked. I did want to clear [things] up and let people know ’cause people was thinking it was deeper than that, but nah, it was more of a natural thing that caused this to happen to him. Once he collapsed, he did pass from the aneurysm, the bleed to the brain."

He continued,

“We don’t know, at least right now, and when they called me and gave me all the news, I don’t know much about aneurysms. So I’m not sure if this is something that he’s been had or how that worked but after this, I will be doing some research just so I can get a better understanding on aneurysms, but all I know is after the collapse, that’s when we heard about it. Like I said, my dad was never in and out of the hospital and that’s the unfortunate thing about sickness. Especially men, we don’t go to the hospital much,” Ty'Gee Ramon said.

The rapper has been vocal about dealing with his father's loss, as he continued, per Vibe:

“I’m trying to stay direct with this video, but my mind is still racing. I do wanna thank God for having the strength to sit here and have this conversation ’cause I couldn’t barely even talk a couple of days ago and throughout this week, just kind of been in the bed thinking ’cause with all the preparations my day gave me, this is something that you can’t prepare for. I still don’t know how to take this, it’s still so unreal. Love that guy, everything that’s me is him. He taught me everything. Never treated me as a kid, even when I was a kid, he always poured so much life into me. So I’m gonna pick up the ball and continue from where he left off. I’m gonna make sure his legacy stays alive and that’s through all of us.”

Ty'Gee Ramon also thanked everyone for their love and support in these trying times, though he refused to drop names out of concern that someone would feel "left out."

"Just the things that helped me get through these last few days, I appreciate that. The ones saying prayers for my dad, there’s so many people. The doctors. They were working real hard out there in Vegas ’cause that’s where it happened. Thank you to all y’all. The GoFundMe, people that’s been sending money to that, we’re going to change the GoFundMe from medical expenses to medical and burial," Ty'Gee Ramon said. "It’s under his mother’s name, so that’s how you know it’s the real one, but we’ll leave a link in the description to let y’all know that’s the [correct] one to go to.”
