Rapper DaBaby’s concert in Fayetteville, Arkansas, faced a sudden change after fans were left waiting for the big night. The show was set for August 15 at Ozark Music Hall, but it did not go as planned. Instead of taking the stage, DaBaby had to cancel and move the performance to another date.

The decision came after DaBaby reportedly missed his flight to Arkansas. This made it impossible for him to reach Fayetteville on time. While this was disappointing for fans, the concert was not canceled for good but postponed to a new date.

The new date for the show is October 3, and the venue confirmed that all tickets from the original night will still be valid. He later explained the situation and addressed his fans directly on social media.

What led to the cancellation?

DaBaby’s August 15 show was scheduled at Ozark Music Hall, which had recently rebranded from JJ’s Live. At one point tickets could be gotten at just $20 and the concert had gained a high awareness in the city. Lots of fans were prepared to watch the rapper perform yet due to travel problems, he did not make it.

He said he missed his flight and had no time to get to Fayetteville to perform at the concert. He said that he would not have landed until about 11 p. m. had he attempted to get in that night. That would have seen fans spending several hours in the building waiting, and the organizers did not want to subject the people to such a state.

The concert was later rescheduled to be held on October 3. Ozark Music Hall could also guarantee fans that their bought tickets will be accepted on the new date.
