Ghostface Killah's "Supreme Clientele Sessions" tour was originally set to launch this fall. It has now been officially put on hold. The Wu-Tang Clan veteran confirmed the postponement in an Instagram statement. He cited the ongoing U.S. government shutdown as the primary reason behind the delay.

The rapper explained that he wanted to deliver the experience that fans deserved. However, the current situation made that difficult. He wrote:

"Because of this government shutdown, we are postponing the upcoming Supreme Clientele Sessions. This one hurts me, because I was looking forward to building with y'all face-to-face, sharing the stories, the laughs, the jewels. But I also know everybody's feeling the weight of what's going on right now.”

Ghostface Killah mentioned that tickets purchased by fans would remain valid for the rescheduled shows:

"If you already got your tickets, hold on to them. They will be honored for the new dates we announce real soon. The wait will be worth it."

However, no updated dates have been released yet. Ghostface Killah assured that the tour will be rescheduled once circumstances get back to normal.

The announcement came weeks after the release of Ghostface Killah's Supreme Clientele 2. It is the sequel to Ghostface's 2000 record Supreme Clientele. The new album features collaborations with Nas, Styles P, Conway the Machine, M.O.P., Dave Chappelle, and multiple Wu-Tang members, including Raekwon, Method Man, and GZA.

Ghostface Killah's official statement on the postponement was shared via his Instagram page. It read:

"Peace family ✌🏽. I gotta let y’all know, because of this government shutdown, we’re postponing the upcoming Supreme Clientele Sessions. This one hurts me, because I was looking forward to building with y’all face-to-face, sharing the stories, the laughs, the jewels. But I also know everybody’s feeling the weight of what is going on right now.
"I don’t ever want to give you a halfway experience. When we do these Sessions, it gotta be right — the energy, the vibe, the connection. 💯"

The post continued:

"🎟️ If you already got your tickets, hold on to them. They’ll be honored for the new dates we announce real soon. Love and respect always for rocking with me. Y’all are more than fans, y’all are family. Stay strong, stay safe, and know I got you. The wait will be worth it✌🏽❤️ – Ghost"

Notably, days before this postponement, Ghostface's son, Infinite Coles, gave an interview to the Daily Mail about their strained relationship. Coles suggested that his sexuality had led to a distance between him and his father. Ghostface Killah has not publicly addressed the interview. However, Coles spoke about getting support from his uncle RZA, who is another Wu-Tang member.
