Further in the Instagram story, Shymansky mentioned that sometimes Young's team has to "take protective measures to ensure her safety." He also apologized to the fans. The Instagram story read:
"Unfortunately due to a sensitive matter I have advised Lola Young to pull out of preforming at Audacy - We Can Survive @ Prudential Centre this evening. Lola is very open about her mental health and there are very occasionally days where myself and my team have to take protective measures to keep her safe. She is an incredible person and always takes her fans, career and performances seriously. I can only send huge apologies for the inconvenience caused."
According to TMZ, Lola Young was diagnosed with schizoaffective disorder at the age of 17, and the singer has remained open about mental health discussions.
