Yungblud hints at potential venue upgrades for 2026 Australia tour: All you need to know

British rocker Yungblud has hinted that his 2026 Australian tour could be getting an upgrade. Following a "f**king crazy" fan demand, the singer revealed that his team is considering moving to relatively bigger venues to accommodate the surge in ticket demand. Yungblud's AU trek will see him deliver shows in Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Brisbane, and Perth.

The tour will be Yungblud's return to Australia after more than three years. It will support his latest studio album, Idols, which was released in June 2025. The record topped the UK charts and landed at No. 4 in Australia. This new run of dates is part of his ongoing Idols World Tour, which kicked off in 2025.

On Tuesday, Yungblud officially confirmed that he would bring the Idols World Tour to Australia in January 2026, with five headline shows. He wrote on Instagram:

"AUSTRALIA. 🇦🇺 After 3 years I am so excited to announce the IDOLS world tour is coming to you in January. I can’t wait to be back with you. Presales start MONDAY 20th of October 3 pm local. Sign up via the link in bio. GENERAL ONSALE starts TUESDAY 21st of October 3 pm local time."

Later, in a video posted on Instagram Stories, Yungblud shared:

"So, the response to the tour announcement has gone f**king crazy, way bigger than we actually expected. If you want to come to a show in Australia, click the link in my bio and sign up. Let us know which city you want to come to, and we will think about potentially upgrading the venues."
