Jisoo and Zayn Malik just turned a long-rumored collab into a record-breaking reality.

Their new duet, "EYES CLOSED," has reportedly smashed records, scoring the biggest 24-hour debut for a male-female duet on YouTube this year with over 6.5 million views.

Following the achievement unlocked, social media lit up with various comments from fans.

"the visuals, the vocals, the numbers....perfection is exhausting," one wrote on X (Twitter).

Released on Oct. 10, "EYES CLOSED" marks the BLACKPINK member's first official English-language single and showcases a fresh sonic blend between the K-pop superstar and the former One Direction crooner.

The dreamy, acoustic-driven song's official music video, which runs for three minutes and eleven seconds, starts with Jisoo and Zayn waking up in separate capsule-like sleeping pods in a large spaceship interior. Together, the two belt out the lyrics:

“We should fall in love with our eyes closed / Better if we keep it where we don't know / The beds we've been in, the namеs and the faces of who we wеre with / And, oh, ain't nobody perfect, but it's all good / The past can't hurt us if we don't look / Let's let it go, better if we fall in love with our eyes closed"

In the video, Jisoo wears a strapless black leather dress and a bold silver choker with horn-like accents and large hoop earrings. Her long black hair cascades down to her thighs, adding weight to her alluring appearance.

Zayn, on the other hand, sports a black ensemble with his leather biker jacket over his dark shirt, creating a rockstar look, especially with his tattoos peeking from his neckline.
