Clipse recently released their new album, Let God Sort Em Out, on July 11, 2025. Their fourth studio album features guest appearances by artists such as John Legend, Voices of Fire, Kendrick Lamar, Tyler, The Creator, The-Dream, Pharrell Williams, Stove God Cooks, Ab-Liva, and Nas.
Now, Pusha T has revealed in an interview with The Breakfast Club and its host Charlamagne tha God that Jay-Z was offered a chance to be on the new Clipse album but never sent in a verse:
"He was sent Chains & Whips, Mike Tyson Blow To The Face..whole that album.. it was all for him to.. whatever he wanted to do."
In response to this reveal, Charlamagne tha God asked if nothing moved him enough to send a verse:
"And nothing moved his spirit?"
Pusha T responded that he didn’t know—and that’s where the clip of the interview regarding Jay-Z ends. As of the writing of this article, Jay-Z has not made any comment regarding the apparent offer to work on the new Clipse album.

The track itself has been well-received by critics, who noted that the diss does not detract from the overall quality. Let God Sort Em Out has yet to have its chart performance released as of the writing of this article.
