OsamaSon released his latest studio album, Jump Out, on January 24, 2025. The singer discussed the album in an exclusive interview with Complex on February 28, 2025, sharing his thoughts on the reactions to the album:

"It is all over the place, I'm not going to lie. I really feel a lot of ways about it. I'm super excited about it now though. I had to really sit back and understand why certain shit was going on, why my album was leaking so early, you feel me? People just really want the music and with me understanding that now it makes me super happy."

OsamaSon continued:

"I feel like now the perception of it is it is getting seen very well. I feel like a lot of opinions are changing too as we're going on and you're really getting to understand the music and understand what I really was going for."

The singer later talked about the evolution of the album:

"I feel like the way I sound in particular, the way you hear my voice. I feel like you couldn't really hear my voice when I was doing my old albums and really coming up."

OsamaSon added:

"I didn't really care about my mixing as much. It was really just a loud bass thing. You just feel the bass. I feel like now you feel everything. You feel the lyrics, you feel the melodies, you feel the bass from the beat. You just feel it as a whole now I feel like instead of just feeling it for one thing."

OsamaSon is the stage name of Amari Deshawn Middleton. The singer began his career in 2020 and released his debut album, Osama Season, in 2023. Later that year, he put out his second album, Flex Musix.
