Kelly Osbourne, the daughter of late Black Sabbath frontman Ozzy Osbourne, celebrated her father’s legacy with bold language on her Instagram Stories. The Prince of Darkness was laid to rest on July 31, 2025, in a private funeral in his hometown of Birmingham, England.

A day later, the media personality shared a picture from the event on her Story — a sign decorated with flowers that read, “Ozzy Fu***** Osbourne.” The sign, which was reflected in a nearby pond, served as a reminder of the late singer’s wild stage persona.

A public procession was held in honor of Ozzy on July 30, 2025, where thousands of fans gathered with flowers and messages at the Black Sabbath Bridge and Bench in Birmingham. On July 22, 2025, the Osbourne family, in a joint statement, announced the death of the Shot in the Dark hitmaker:

"It is with more sadness than mere words can convey that we have to report that our beloved Ozzy Osbourne has passed away this morning.”

They added:

"He was with his family and surrounded by love. We ask everyone to respect our family's privacy at this time."

Following the news of his passing, Kelly, 40, expressed on July 24, 2025, that she had lost her best friend:

"I feel unhappy. I am so sad. I lost the best friend I ever had."

Kelly Osbourne reportedly made a promise not to mourn Ozzy, a source revealed

In an exclusive report by The Daily Mail published on July 31, 2025, a source close to the family alleged that Kelly Osbourne tried to maintain her composure during Ozzy’s funeral rites because of a promise she reportedly made to him:

“Of course, there have been tears, but she promised her dad — who openly spoke about not wanting people to mourn but rather celebrate his life—that she would not crumble in public.”

The source stated that the late Black Sabbath member “always pushed” his family to celebrate what people have done in life, not “f–king worry about what’s next.”

According to The Daily Mail’s exclusive, Kelly Osbourne and her siblings were worried about their mother, Sharon Osbourne, who looked devastated at the procession for her late husband. The source stated that the siblings were concerned about the impact their father’s death would have on their mother.
