Ozzy Osbourne announced his new book after his final performance at the Back to the Beginning concert. The rock legend shared that the book will be a first-hand account of his battle with paralysis and his “descent into hell.”

According to the book’s synopsis, Ozzy Osbourne doesn't regret any of the decisions he made and, if given the opportunity, will make the same choices again.

“People say to me, if you could do it all again, knowing what you know now, would you change anything? I'm like, f*** no. If I'd been clean and sober, I wouldn't be Ozzy. If I'd done normal, sensible things, I wouldn't be Ozzy.”

According to new reports, Ozzy’s wife, Sharon Osbourne, is allegedly going to write the book’s foreword.

In addition to recounting his experience with paralysis, Ozzy’s uncensored memoir will also detail his affair with Michelle Pugh, his hairstylist from 2012 to 2016. When Ozzy first confessed to the affair, Sharon tried to take her life as the news broke. In the memoir, Ozzy expressed his remorse for the affair; however, inside sources say he was brutally honest about everything that went down.

“As he was always brutally honest during his life, it’s been decided not a word will be changed, even about painful times in his life and how his affair affected Sharon,” the source said as reported by The Sun.

While talking about Sharon’s foreword, the insider described her as a strong woman who always had Ozzy’s best interests at heart.

“Sharon is made of stern stuff, and the publishers know she will want to leave her fingerprint on this book. Writing its foreword will also be cathartic for her and act as a way of laying Ozzy to rest.”

“Last Rites is the shocking, bitterly hilarious, never-before-told story of Ozzy's descent into hell. Along the way, he reflects on his extraordinary life and career, including his marriage to wife Sharon, as well as what it took for him to get back onstage for the triumphant Back to the Beginning concert, streamed around the world, where Ozzy reunited with his Black Sabbath bandmates for the final time,” the book description read.

The description also described the narrative as “brutally honest” and at the same time “life-affirming.

“Unflinching, brutally honest, but surprisingly life-affirming, Last Rites demonstrates once again why Ozzy has transcended his status as surprisingly life-affirming, Last Rites demonstrates once again why Ozzy has transcended his status as 'The Godfather of Metal’ and ‘The Prince of Darkness’ to become a modern-day folk hero and national treasure,” the description concluded.
