Paul McCartney is officially set to head to Texas. The former Beatle has added a new date—Saturday, October 25, 2025—to his Got Back 2025 North American tour.

The newly announced concert will take place at the Alamodome in San Antonio. It will be Paul McCartney’s only Texas stop on this leg of the tour and his first performance in the city in over a decade.

The Alamodome show joins a packed tour schedule that will span 20 dates across the U.S. and Canada. The run will kick off in Palm Desert, California, on September 29, 2025. It will wrap up in Chicago with back-to-back shows on November 24 and 25, 2025.

Paul McCartney took to his official Instagram page to announce the new show addition, captioning:

"NEW DATE ADDED 🎸 GOT BACK 🎸 NORTH AMERICAN TOUR 2025. San Antonio, welcome to the Got Back tour! 25th October - Alamodome - San Antonio. Presale begins Tuesday 29th July at 10 am local. Register for presale access at paulmccartneygotback.com"

Paul McCartney launched the Got Back Tour in 2022 with 16 sold-out U.S. shows. In 2023, he brought the tour to Australia, Mexico, and Brazil, and in 2024, he performed in Europe, the UK, and South America. The 2025 edition is McCartney’s most extensive North American run since 2022. It includes stops in cities he has never played solo before, like Albuquerque and Palm Springs.

The 2025 tour features Paul McCartney’s live band: Paul “Wix” Wickens (keyboards), Brian Ray (bass/guitar), Rusty Anderson (guitar), and Abe Laboriel Jr. (drums). Moreover, Hot City Horns — Mike Davis (trumpet), Kenji Fenton (sax), and Paul Burton (trombone) — who have performed with McCartney since 2018, will also join him.
