Popular American rapper Playboi Carti expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the Blinding Lights hitmaker The Weeknd as he joined the latter on stage for a performance at New York's MetLife Stadium in the ongoing "After Hours til Dawn" tour.

Accompanied by a hug, the Magnolia crooner says to Tesfaye:

"Yo Weeknd, I just wanna tell you, my n***a. I love you so much. I’m so motherf**in' grateful for the opportunity [to] see myself in the stadium. This sh*t crazy.”

This recent collab performance marks Playboi's debut stadium tour.

Before the duo's performance, the Georgia-born rapper collaborated with Tesfaye on his critically acclaimed trap song "Timeless," the lead track from the Canadian artist's 2025 chart-topping album Hurry Up Tomorrow. The hip-hop song has a meaning rooted in self-worth, capturing the ostentatious and carefree lifestyle associated with fame.

The chorus echoes the concept

“Ever since I was a kid, I been legit (Homixide, Homixide, Homixide, oh, oh)/ If I was you, I would cut up my wrist (Ah)/ XO tatted all over her body, yeah (Body, yeah)/ She just wanna roll and I don't mind it, yeah/ Ever since I was a jit, I been legit (Yeah, ooh, nah)/ You should let her go, she wanna be it (Oh, nah)/ Double-O tatted on her body, yeah (Body, yeah)/ It don't matter what they say, I'm timeless.”

Timeless peaked at 3 and 7 on the Billboard Hot 100 and the UK Singles, respectively.
