Ratboys 2026 North American tour: Presale code, dates, venues, and more explored

Chicago-based indie rock band Ratboys have officially announced a North American tour for early 2026. The 34-date run is going to be their first outing since the release of The Window in 2023.

The announcement follows Ratboys' new label signing and the release of their first new single in two years, Light Night Mountains All That. The band has recently launched a new partnership with New West Records. Light Night Mountains All That is produced with former Death Cab for Cutie guitarist Chris Walla, who also contributed piano. The song has been described by vocalist Julia Steiner as an "ultra-high energy folk song."

Ratboys took to their official Instagram page to announce the upcoming 2026 trek, captioning:

"hey hey! we have a new song to share today, called “Light Night Mountains All That” 💫🌘🏔️🪐⚡️ writing this song together while cooped up in a cabin in Wisconsin was one of the most joyful and unhinged experiences we’ve ever had as a band. s-tier crazy sh*t. and we’re so excited to put it out today with the help of the wonderful team at @newwestrecords who we’ve long admired & who have signed us on to be a part of their killer roster"

The post continued:

"to celebrate, WE’RE GOING ON TOUR! When the Sun Explodes 2026! hitting some legendary spots (Philly at the Church! 9:30 Club!), some places we haven’t played in forever (KC! Fayetteville!), and some places we’ve never headlined (Vancouver, it’s time) pre-sale starts tmrw aka Wednesday at 9am ct, then tickets go on sale this Friday at 9 am ct (link in bio)"
