Canadian rock band Rush added more dates to their upcoming 2026 Fifty Something tour. The announcement came shortly after the band announced a reunion tour on October 6. The 2026 tour will be the first time Rush's founding members Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson will be performing live together after their 2015 tour, R40.
The Fifty Something will also mark their first tour since the death of the band's drummer, Neil Peart, in 2020. German drummer Anika Nilles will be joining Lee and Lifeson on the 2026 tour. The drummer had earlier performed as Jeff Beck’s drummer for over 60 shows. Nilles had also released four solo albums.
Rush announced the tour through an Instagram post on October 6. The caption of the post gave a hint of what Rush would offer on the Fifty Something tour:
"These special “evening with” shows will find the band playing two sets each night. Each show will feature a distinct selection of songs and RUSH will build each night’s setlist from a catalogue of 35 songs including their greatest hits and fan favorites."
Due to high demand, the band added 11 more dates to the upcoming reunion tour on Wednesday. The band announced the date addition via an Instagram post.
Interested people can sign up for the RUSH Artist Presale on October 9 at 11:59 pm ET. The presale will start on October 13 for all venues except Mexico City. Fans willing to attend Rush's show in Mexico City will be able to access presale on October 16. The general sale of tickets will begin on October 17.

More about the Fifty Something tour
For the Fifty Something tour, Lee and Lifeson will be touring together for the first time in eleven years after concluding the R40 Tour on August 1, 2015. Geddy Lee described the tour as:
“Alex and I have done some serious soul searching and come to the decision that we fu*king miss it, and that it’s time for a celebration of 50-something years of RUSH music. So in 2026 my BFF Lerxst (aka Alex Lifeson) and I are going to hit the road once again to pay tribute to our past and to Neil by performing a vast selection of RUSH songs in a handful of cities."
Lee's statement further noted that although "Neil was irreplaceable," an "incredible drummer and musician," Anika Nilles would be joining the band. Neil Peart's family also expressed their support for the Fifty Something tour.
