Sophie Ellis-Bextor 2026 Australian tour: Presale, dates, venues, and more explored

British pop singer Sophie Ellis-Bextor has officially confirmed her return to the stage in Australia in February 2026. She has scheduled a new run of headline shows in support of her new album, Perimenopop.

The four-city tour will include stops in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, and Perth. It will be her first solo headline dates in the country since her recent festival and support appearances. Sophie Ellis-Bextor's eighth studio album Perimenopop was released earlier this month via Decca. She has been touring across Europe and North America promoting it.

Fans can expect a setlist with new tracks such as Taste and Relentless Love alongside Sophie Ellis-Bextor's hits like Murder on the Dancefloor, Get Over You, and Take Me Home.

Ellis-Bextor took to her official Instagram page to speak about her album. She penned:

"Sometimes there's a sprinkle of serendipity that really ties a creative project together. Releasing 'Perimenopop' as autumn arrives and the leaves change colour is absolutely perfect and it feels so right."

She also added:

"This 8th album was born out of many things… looking back to when Murder and its friends were first released with Read My Lips in 2001, the relationships I started around that time which have given me so much support and fun, thinking over the chapters of your life which you pass through consciously and unconsciously, and what gifts come with getting older."
