South Korean entertainment agencies like BIGHIT are set to debut new K-pop groups

Following the launch of a few K-pop groups in the first quarter of the year, fans are looking forward to more. According to Soompi, HYBE revealed its earnings report from the first quarter of 2025 and also noted that its subsidiary, BIGHIT, is scheduled to debut its new boy band in "the third quarter of 2025." Without revealing many details, the agency described the new group as,
“a next-generation creator crew that will express themselves in an entirely new way."
HYBE's subsidiaries, Pledis and Source Music, are speculated to launch their respective groups. However, no official confirmation has been shared. New girl group, Kiiras, under Lean Branding agency, is scheduled to debut on May 29. According to the agency, singer and songwriter SAAY, who has previously worked with AESPA and TWICE, will be the head producer of Kiiras' debut music.
F&F Entertainment agency has confirmed the debut of a boy group, AHOF, in the first half of 2025. While there have been rumors that YG Entertainment will be launching a new boy group by the end of 2025, no information has been revealed. Additionally, X user About Music has speculated that SM Entertainment is also expected to launch a new boy group. A source told The Korean Herald that the agency will debut the group in the second half.
